Mary Grace

Hi everyone

I took MaryGrace to the Doctor yesterday because she has had a fever since Sunday 104.2. She would be okay when she was on motrin but as soon as that wore off. It went back up to 104. Debbie(doctor) wanted me to take her to the Hostpital for blood work. Because of insurance they wouldn't take a stat order. So I said fine and I walked out. I called the on call person and was advised to take her to the Er. The Er at this hostpital has ER just for peds.

So here I am waiting results. I am praying like crazy that everything will be okay. So I will keep you all posted.

Thank You everybody that knows so far for the hugs and support.

Amanda

(hugs) I'm sure you are freaking out... I will send some prayers your way. If it makes you feel any better in the meantime, when Ben had roseola, he ran a 103 fever for five days before he had any other symptoms (the rash). Once he got the rash, the fever broke and he was just cranky. Hopefully it's something that simple. Keep us posted!

That's scary. I hope it turns out okay.
Erin posted about Roseola and that is what came to mind to me too. Emily had Roseola around her 1st birthday. She had a really high (102-104) & unexplained fever for several days. I didn't know it was Roseola until a rash appeared when the fever broke. Just a thought. I hope she feels better soon!

Amanda, I will be saying prayers for you and for Gracie. The Roseola sounds like a good possibility from what the others are saying. Please let us know when you find out anything. Hugs.
