It's Christmas

I should be posting more. I have a lot to say.
Baby Blue is due in 9 weeks. Gracie's birthday and Christmas all in one week.
So I took the girls out today. We went to the Christmas Bazaar. I loved being with them. Seeing Gracie's face in see of Santa was precious. Gracie is 6 and she still had that magic in her about life. I love this picture my sweet sweet girl!

With My Hannah!!

I loved my one hour with Hannah at the grocery store. She needed that time. She happy and laughing and awesome behavior.

I love my Hannah girl. Seeing her smile and have her silly laugh, reminds why I love being a mom. My beautiful girls!!!

Where Have I Been?

It has been a long time!! As the Hannah and MaryGrace get older I am so much more busy. We moved a month ago and we are finding our way just fine. I love the girls new school. They dont' miss their old school at all.

I am meeting new people all the time. I miss my friends is HC a lot. I know we will see each other soon.

I wanted to check in. I will write soon, because I feel the need to write more.

Sick

So a week ago today I was diagnosed with pneumonia. Then 2 days later I was admitted to the hospital. I am in extreme pain from the whole illness.

I missed my girls so much. I hated being away from them. Their smiles and their need to be on my lap or right next me. It fills me with such greatness. I hated hearing MG cry and say she wants me. I could hear Hannah try and be strong . I am so proud of them. My husband well he is the Gem of the year. He cooked and cleaned and did everything for the girls so they were comfortable. In the midst of all this going on he bought 3 new shirts so I was fresh when I came home form the hospital.

Now my husband is sick. So today I am taking him to the doctor. I really think he needs a antibiotic. He is drained and not feeling well. That could be a disaster if he does not see the doctor soon. He is always grateful when I take care of him.

Maybe I Am Back!!

Well,it has been a while and truthfully I miss the writing. I think I have a lot to say so . I am going to start gathering my thoughts and write more.

My girls are getting bigger and a lot more is going on . So I am sure I will have good story's to tell.

I also have been reading a lot lately.I am reading"Water For Elephants", Its a great book I can't wait to see the movie in April!!!

So more to write soon!!!!

A Couple Of Things!!!

Poor Gracie she has a horrible rash. It's eczema and hives and bright red. Gracie is so miserable and itchy. I am using Eucerin Calming Creme.

The doctor perscribed prednisone and hydroxizine. Hope full this morning she will feel a little better.

I am really looking forward to church on Sunday. I am very excited about the new church. I am so thankful that God lead me there. I will be forever grateful to my friend Jaimie. She invited me to go with her family. My girls love the church also. I think it a good fit for my family.

Please pray that I continue with this church. Let my heart be open to whatever God needs me to know and do.

Germs And Cabin Fever!!!!

Well it was me last week,Bronchtisits and fever. Well since my mom taught me to share ,now the girls have it.

No school for Hannah all week. Fever on and off for both Hannah and Gracie. They have been at each others throat. Fighting and scream at each other. Dean was home yesterday,thank you Lord. I was sick of the fighting so I put my coat on and took a walk. I know they are going crazy being inside. We have a big playroom and lots of toys. There is a TV down there so they could watch whatever they wanted. Still everything was a battle. I was worn out and extremely irritated.

This morning has been OK. A couple of times I have sad ,"Do I need to put on my coat." "NO no mommy we will be good." Then they hug and say,"look we love each other,we're hugging.". Well let me tell you, that lasts 10 minutes.

So right now they are coloring nicely and watching Marley & Me. I am not going to comment on their behavior because I don't want to spoil it. I cherish these times very much.

Don't get me wrong I love these girls more then you could know. I just think I am going crazy from the lack of adult conversation. So if we get together and I yell I hate you and your not my friend. Don't worry I have been brainwashed by a 3 & 5 year old.

I will soon have a story about my grandmother so I look forward to posting it.

I'm Back!!

I miss blogging!!! So I am back to tell the tales of my girls.

I have been really busy,but I am hoping now I can write more. The girls are doing great. They are getting big. Hannah loves kindergarten, and Gracie loves preschool. It's been a learning experience for me. Seeing Gracie without Hannah has been hard on me. Gracie loves having me to herself. Still there is a sadness during the day. Lately though,I have to admit we are so busy that time flies during the day. So before I know it it's time to get Hannah off the bus.

I think now my favorite part of the day is when Hannah gets off the bus. Her smile brightens my heart. My cup runneth over when Hannah turns to Gracie and says,"Gracie tell me about your day". I realized that Hannah is turning into a thoughtful little girls. There are other things she does that are thoughtful. Her saying that really sticks out.


So I am back to the blog. I have missed you all. I will be updating as much as I can.

Dean
Going back to work after a long recovery from surgery. I think he is excited to be there. He is awesome at his job and just wants to be active again. Such a good man!!!

I am doing fine!!! Nothing exciting to speak of. I think I am addicted to Facebook.
I have reconnected with my friend Emily. She is wild and crazy like me. I have missed her very much. We keep each other laughing and these days I need that. Emily has a beautiful little girl named Abby...Gracie calls her tiny weeny Abby. I am so glad they are in our lives.
So Emily if your reading this your stuck with me so there!!!!

Could Somebody Please Remove The Freaking Black Cloud Over My House!

The girls and I are sick. Hannah and Gracie have Bronchitis and I have a very bad case of Vertigo. It's like I am old or something. I only hear about vertigo with old people.
Dean's surgery was cancelled last Monday. He was admitted yet again for another abscess behind his bladder and bowel. The man was in so much pain. He could not move for days like 4 days. He had a drain in his stomach for 2 weeks that was just removed. The poor guy has to wait another 4 to 6 weeks for this surgery. No colonoscopy next time because they are sure this was the reason for abscess and inflammation.
Please pray that Dean can get to the surgery. Dean is miserable and grouchy.

Don't ask how I am because I might start crying. Taking care of my peoples in this house is just enough. Anything else might put me over the edge. Trust me I don't look good in orange and numbers across my front.

On the good side we went to the movies. It was awesome,we saw the new oo7 movie. The new James Bond is hot. The movie was worth 1hour and 45 minutes to watch D Craig beat and shoot people up.

My Little Turkey's

Thanksgiving was a great day. We all ate plenty of turkey and fixings. Hannah and Gracie had a great time.

Dean and I enjoyed being with his family. Dean even got to eat a good meal.

It was a good meal and I am glad to be home.

Oh, I am already addicted to face book. Looks like house work won't get done on time.

The Power Of Prayer

So you all know that my husband is having a large part of his colon removed. This is really serious stuff. The diseased part of his colon is so bad that it needs to be removed ASAP. The surgeon wanted to wait for the colon to calm down and not be inflamed. So his surgery is December 8th right before Christmas. I am looking forward to a quiet day at home.

Dean is doing really well through all this. He's more affecionate and communicate's more. I really like this part because we have gotten a lot closer. We hold hands more and I get more hugs.

My mom's brother and my favorite uncle. He told me once at a wedding this time in our marriage is the hardest. With the girls being so small and all the ups and downs. I have to truely say out of all of this Dean's sickness has been a test from God.It's been really hard on me to try to explain why his parents and sisters haven't called or stopped by to see him. It's hard on me not to pick up the phone and yell. The selfishness makes me crazy but biting my lip seems to do the trick.

So Friday night I arranged to have prayer group at my house. I invited our friend Father G. My 3 closet girlfriends and their kids. All 3 of them have kids the same age as Hannah and Gracie. I had a babysitter take the kids to the playroom in our house. The adults ate then we prayed.

I felt God's presence so much that I know he is doing amazing things for Dean. It was a wonderful night and I am so glad we did it. The other amazing part was we all agreed to start Friday night prayer group.I really am very excited about this. Prayer is a major part of my life. I give so much of my thoughts and pain and hurt to God. I know that he takes it and works to make me better. I am really working on forgiveness because I can't let it consume me. I have high standards on family because my family is so large. You have to be there for your family. I just have to get over that some people don't think the way I do. If someone is sick or in a crisis I call them or email them so they know I am here if they need me.

So please pray for Dean and his 3 favorite girls. We can get through this but prayer is a wonderful thing.

My Little Ball Of Energy

Gracie started Terrific Tots tonight. This class is something I have been wanting to do with her for a long time. She had a great time. She smiled and laughed the whole time. Most important which I was worried she listened to Mrs.Barb the majority of the time.

I had a lot of fun also watching her. Also my best friend Jen was there with her little boy. J is the same age as Gracie. Jen's oldest C is in preschool with Hannah. Our husband's get along great also. We do alot of outings with them. Jen has been a really wonderful friend to me. So doing extra activities with her and the kids makes the week happier.

Gracie is just a amazing 2 year old. I wish I could freeze time and make her stay 2. She has brought such joy to my life. She is such a mommy's girl.

I was reading to Hannah and Gracie tonight before bed. Gracie looks up at me and says,"I love you mommy". I just hugged her and stayed in the moment. She such a sweet little girl. I really am blessed that Hannah and Gracie are loving little girls.

When we were leaving tonight,Hannah was upset that she could not go. Gracie hugged and kissed her and said,"I be back soon Hannah,I love you". They really miss each other when they are separated. It started at a young age. They are really good buddies. I tell them that they are luck to have each other. I tell them also that they should not forget how blessed they are.It's those times that I realize that I am doing a good job with them. Mostly they are good girls with big hearts.I thank God every day for them and the lessons they are teaching me.

The Major Happenings Going On In Our House!

Hannah

Hannah is Starting Hip Hop dance class this Monday. She has a lot of potential and lots of energy. I think she will do awesome. I have been holding off because her asthma has flared up too much lately.

She loves school very much. Hannah has a wonderful teacher. Hannah has a new friend. Seeing them together you would think they had known each other forever. "A" is a sweet outgoing little girl. She is very loving and adores Hannah. They play a lot together outside of school. In fact her friend lives 3 streets up from us. "A's" little sister,"S" is the same age as Gracie. They also play wonderfully well together also.

Hannah is really struggling with asthma right now. Today she was put on Zithromax for bronchitis. She is on allegra,singulair,pulmicort,albuterol,and flonase. That's a lot of meds for a 4&1/2 year old. She handles it really well.

We have been reading chapter books lately. We finished "Boxcar Children and Charlotte's Web. She liked "Boxcar Children" the best. We are starting, The Tales of Uncle Remus. I really she will enjoy them a lot.

Hannah is such a mommy's girl. She loves to cuddle with me during nap time. Or me just holding her makes her day.

The very best thing that Hannah has accomplished this year. She is sleeping in her bed. No waking up in the middle of the night to sleep with us. She does not give me a hard time about going to bed. Let me tell you I never thought we would ever get there.Yeah Hannah!!!!!!!

Gracie

Gracie is a sweet little girl. She is also a mommy's girl. She is talking so well. She sings so much because it takes no time for her to learn a song. She told me the other night after she kissed Hannah good night. "I happy cause Hannah luff me". How sweet is that?

Gracie for some odd reason loves the movie Camp Rock. I don't know how that got started but we have to watch it every day. Also she loves the show Zack and Cody on the Disney Channel. She is such a good girl. I am so blessed to have a easy toddler.

My Life

Well my life is at the craziest ever. I am still dealing with a lot of pain issues. Dr.M is really doing a great job. He as me on a bunch of different meds to help. There is talk of another surgery. Just not right now.

The worst of all my husband is really sick. It is just horrible. The beginning of October he was admitted to the hospital for perforations of the colon. Not even a week after being discharged he is admitted again for a abscess behind his bladder and colon. He is in a lot of pain. I am not talking about ouch this hurts. I mean curled up in a ball and can't walk. The man is miserable and hating life. Dean has a great surgeon. In fact I have known her for a while. He is in great hands and at a great hospital. In December he will have the diseased part of his colon removed. So please keep him in your prayers.

We plan not to travel this Christmas. Which I am happy about. For the last 6 years all we do is travel to 6 different family members houses. So this year I am going to cook with the girls and take care of the "daddy man".

So that's a little update. I really will try to write more.

School!!!!

School started today for Hannah!!! I love love her teacher. I am very excited for the year. Yey to 3 days a week.

There are 6 ways of getting to Hannah's school. So we are back to 3 days a week of which route should we take. I go through this every morning. Here we go again!!!!! Also what do we do for 3 hours!!!!!!!?????

Loving Those My Girls And Other Things

Gracie did 2 of the sweetest and smart things of a 2 year old.
1. I was reorganizing the books shelf in the entertainment system. So I went upstairs to find more books. I couldn't find this one book. It was important to me because this book is my favorite and Hannah's. So I gave her the description. "It has a mouse with a big strawberry on it with green leaves". So Gracie was sitting on my bed and she started to get down. "I be back okay" 5 seconds later she came back up and said"ear it is"(Gracie talk). I could not believe it she found the book. I was just baffled. I have never read this book to her and she found it.

2. So tonight I am doing the nightly routine. Books, bottle and change diapers. About 10 minutes later Gracie comes to me and says"I ready for crib " That's her sign that she is really ready. So we go in the family room and say our I love you's. So I said to Gracie"say I love you to Hannah" She points right at Hannah and says "hug". I looked over at my husband and he had the biggest smile. Could she melt my heart anymore. I just thought that was so sweet. She and Hannah were playing so well together today. I got a lot done tonight because of them being very occupied.

Remember I told you about my kitchen table that I am in love with? Well lately I am really working on my kitchen.I am trying to make it all flow together. My parents agreed I need new floors. That has been on the list forever. I just got new curtains to flow with the table. That was major luck let me tell ya. I am going with less is more. So tonight I got a call that my new Baker's rack was being delivered. It is so beautiful!!!!!! So 2 other things have been removed from my kitchen. My biggest dilemma is what color to paint my kitchen. Which I think that will really make the kitchen better.
These are the colors of my curtain. Country blue, forest green,yellow. What do you think?

Over The Hill And Other Stories!!

Well yesterday my darling husband Dean turned 40. The girls and I made sure we gave him a proper celebration.
I surprised him with 2 dozen crabs and corn. We sat out back on our patio and went to town. These crabs were so good. It was just lumps of crab meat. We ended the night with Rita's Italian Ice.

The girl's are doing awesome. I know I haven't written about them. There is so much to tell. I really need to start taking notes before I blog.

Hannah is excited about the 4 year old program and 3 days a week. She will be back with all her friends. I also signed her up for Sunday school. She will be with some of her friends from school as well.I am really looking forward to this because I need to start going to church every weekend.

I am realizing that the girls are at the age of real routine. I kick myself every Sunday because I am prolonging the routine.

Gracie is just pistol!!! She is talking nonstop in sentences. She asks why about everything. She has taken much interest in the potty. She has no interest in sleeping in a big girl bed with Hannah. So it's still the crib for right now.

Right before I had surgery we got them a huge pool. It was a practical buy. They have really gotten their money's worth from the pool. Dean would take them out there and they would swim for hours. Then they took great naps. So that gave Dean some down time.

I have to mention my awesome neighbors. We really have great one. This has made living in the community a nice experience. We all help each other. Our one neighbor has a little girl. C is always playing with Hannah when their home. Our other neighbors have 3 dogs and Hannah and Gracie are in love. When we all get together it's so fun. Last night we sat outside and talked from 12:00am to 3:am. I couldn't believe it. CA said next weekend it will involve alcohol. Sounds great to me.

CA and CH are just wonderful people. I love having them as neighbors. They even trust us to let their Minne doxin hang out at our house. Bailey their dog has Hannah's heart.

It was funny last night when we were eating crabs Bailey dog snuck through the fence twice to come play. So today I called CA and CH to see if Bailey dog could come over for a little bit. The girls had a ball. I saw another side of my husband. Just dogs are not in the picuture right now.

Oh ,I have to tell you about Gracie I forgot. Were in Old Navy the other night . Gracie walked up to this lady with a huge butt. Gracie patted her on the butt and said "big buuttt",in her little 2 year old voice. I was so embarrassed. I couldn't believe it.

Well this was a lot. I hope you enjoyed my boring and sometimes exciting life.

Today Is Another Day!

So today I did one errand and came home. Being out for 1 hour I was in complete pain. I really needed to buy a new hair dryer because mine died. I also needed to go to the bank. I came home took some pain medicine and went to bed.

The last 2 nights I have been spoiled by my to girlfriends bringing us dinner. Jean and Jen mad 2 delicious meals and I was stuffed at the end.Besides the fact that I love them our kids get along great.

I forgot to write that I got a new kitchen table. It's oak with green tile in the table. Oh, I love this table so much. I am redoing my kitchen in this color. I will take pictures and post them when I am done. Our neighbors 2 doors down moved and gave us the table.It's not even 2 years old and it's so beautiful.

Diagnoses!!!

I have been home since 7:30pm. The marvelous Dr.M found significant amounts of Endometriosis. He excised the Endo and looked for clean tissue. Dr.M told my husband that I have large veins in my girly compartments which can lead to a lot of pain. So he is going to treat that with pain medicine. I will be starting Lupron I guess soon.

Hannah is with my parents and Gracie Girl came home with us. Gracie's vocabulary is rally picking up.So tonight this was a conversation with Gracie."Mama u bellwee ert n u doe 2 da dotter's?" "Yes Grace ,my belly hurts and Dr.M fixed me up so I can take care of you" "Oh,Mama u b fine otay" Wow, I love that girl so much.

So if any of you are having a bad day call her she will make it better or you will dye laughing.

Hannah told my Mom that she wanted Gracie to go home so she could have her Memom(my mother) to herself. Hannah loves her Memom so much. God only knows what their going to do together. Last time they were together they got their hair cut and a manicure. It's the life I tell ya it's the life.

You might be wondering why I am typing this right after surgery, well Percocet and Dilauded really kick ass. I don't feel a thing right now. I talked to my friend Beth who is a Gyn and she said I will be feeling it in the morning. Oh,yay!!!!!!!

We Talked!!

Today was my last day of work for 2 weeks until I return from having surgery. I couldn't wait to come home to see the girls. They get me through the hardest days.

I am very blessed that I have Hannah and Grace. They are my heart and I would do anything for them. So tonight I told Dean that I am at peace with whatever happens on Monday. If it happens that I can not have any more kids it's okay. We have our 2 beautiful girls and that is enough for me. I would be happy with another but whatever happens it's okay.

This was a talk that I didn't expect to have. I also did not expect to have these girls.

So I am really ready for Monday. I just hope that I don't cry when we drop the girls off. Also when I say goodbye to Dean before going to the OR.I know that this has him very worried.
